What’s New:
A line of storms along and ahead of a cold front will push through the Mid-South by tomorrow afternoon. Damaging winds and heavy rainfall will be possible as the line pushes eastward. Likewise, tornadoes may be embedded within the line, and could form ahead of the line.
Otherwise, throughout the day tomorrow expect gusty winds with the possibility of gusts up to 50 mph throughout the day.
– There is an Enhanced Risk for severe storms over the majority of the Mid-South.
WHAT: A line of severe storms will push through the area bringing the potential for damaging winds, heavy rainfall and tornadoes.
WHEN: Storms will begin to push through by 12 pm, then continue eastward towards the Tennessee River by sundown.
WHERE: All of the Mid-South.
Possible/Expected Impacts:
– Downed trees and power outages may be possible with damaging wind.
– Locally heavy rainfall could cause some flooding especially in poor drainage areas and urban areas.
