the Missouri Bootheel…North Mississippi…and West Tennessee.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Southerly winds will continue to increase across the Mid-South today into
tonight. Sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts to
40-45 mph will be possible. A Wind Advisory has been issued for Eastern
Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, extreme West Tennessee, and Northwest
Mississippi today. After midnight tonight, the entire Mid-South will be in a
Wind Advisory.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday
Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday. Any severe
storms that develop will be capable of producing damaging winds, hail and
tornadoes. At this time, best chances for severe storms will occur from
midday Thursday through sunset. Stay tuned to the latest forecasts.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for the entire Mid-South on Thursday. Strong
southerly winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45-50 mph will be possible.
