The conclusion of the 2019 City of Holly Springs Summer Youth Job Program was July 31, 2019. The City of Holly Springs Mayor Kelvin Buck and Board of Aldermen implemented the Summer Youth Job Program (5) five years ago to provide the youth with jobs to develop valuable job skills and the opportunity to earn money during the summer months. This summer (20) twenty youth of the City of Holly Springs was provided with jobs at different city departments. During the (8) weeks the youth experienced real-time on the job training and participated in community service projects at the Monthly Food Bank and Bishop Houck New Hope Village. The program was a success this summer and we’re looking forward to next year.
